Sheung Yik was completely demolished. 4 bombs were dropped at Km. 55/1 damaging all the telegraph wires, 2 at Km. 92/6 but without damage to the kailway. 2 bombs were dropped at

Km. 98.36 just outside the Cheung Muk Tou station fencing

wall, slightly damaging the station office. The doors and

windows of the Goods-shelter were broken through the

explosion, and the telegraph wires and telephone cable

were interrupted. 4 bombs were also dropped into a field

near the station but without damage to Railway property.

Necessary repairs were immediately put in hand.

27TH DECEMBER.

TU TONG CHEUNG MUK TOU, Between 13.45 and 14.05

hours the Railway was attacked by 3 enemy planes when6 bombs were dropped, 1 at Km. 94/6, 2 at Km. 95/2, 1 at Km. 95/5,

1 at Km. 95/9 and 1 at Km. 96/0, but without any damage to

the Railway, except that all the telegraph wires between

Cheung Muk Tou and Sheung Ping were broken.
